beads by jayywing was created by me (Jaclyn!) in August 2023 and is located in Waterloo, Ontario. 🇨🇦

After creating friendship bracelets for a concert 🎤 , I fell in love with the creative process and decided this was something I wanted to do as a little side-gig! 

👩‍💻 I work in marketing, social media and PR, so this felt like a natural place to put my skills to work while also learning about the entrepreneurial process. I started small, only making bracelets for 👰‍♀️ brides and bridal parties 👯‍♀️, but quickly expanded my product selection as the demand increased. 

At the heart of it all, beads by jayywing is something I enjoy doing in my free time and it isn't my intention to grossly profit off of the business. Because of this, I try to keep my pricing fair (and as low as possible) based on the costs for materials, packaging and my time. 

Currently, beads by jayywing is a one-woman show, but I would be remiss to not thank my partner, friends and family for their support along the way. 🖤
